Nirwandra

A remake of the OC Nirwandra by NandaImations (https://nandaimationsweb.carrd.co). I've wanted to do this project for a while as I wanted to learn more about rigging by working on a unique character. And the reason why I choose Nirwandra is because, well, it's a furry character 😆. However, one thing that attracts me is leg design. At first, I try to model the leg from scratch and then rig it. But I kept getting issues with the shape key deformation. Then I remembered this character Jossamation made (https://x.com/Jossamations/status/1663908678305554441), which gave me the idea of modeling the leg from a straight pose with a bend deform fix, and then copy transform to an already posed bone. Since I already use a 3-chain IK-FK setup, I don't need to make a buffer bone or use static transform. The rest of the rig is straightforward. I just reused and modified the snout rig modules I made for the Endertainer Rig MCS2 as well as using the other rig modules to build the rig. And for the textures, I use a few custom textures that require me to use multiple materials.
